ALPS Mountaineering Vertex 4 Backpacking Tent Specifications

Featuring a single continuous pole design, the Vertex 4 is a free-standing tent enhanced with two doors for easy entry and two vestibules for gear storage and extra weather protection. Extra large zippers make opening and closing the doors and vestibules a breeze. The Vertex 4 frame is made with strong and lightweight aircraft alloy aluminum poles and assembly is easy with tent clips that snap into place over the poles. The poles are all shock-corded together as one continuous system. The top of the tent has a spreader section for increased head room and with factory sealed fly and floor seams, you're sure to stay dry in rainy weather. The polyester fly and floor are urethane coated and also have factory sealed seams for maximum weatherproofness. The fly buckles to the tent, offering a secure attachment and the mesh roof vents increase ventilation and improves star gazing.

The Vertex 4 sleeps 4 adults with two vestibules for gear storage.

This is one of the best packs i have ever bought and after three years it barely has any signs of wear. Tons of access to the main compartment and the perfect amount of exterior pockets make it a great trekking backpack which can hold all your gear without a problem. The waist belt is extremely well padded and has extra zippered pockets where you can stash your little trinkets. The pack also has a multitude of places to clip carabiners on to if needed. Overall, a very comfortable carrier which makes a heavy load easily bearable. Well worth the price!!

Great, durable and light backpack. I used it on a 1000km hike from Sevile to Santiago de Compostella and it simply delivered. The sidepockets are great to keep an Camera (It fitted perfectly for my Panasonic Lumix TZ7) or a small GPS (I used a Garmin Edge 705). The pack itself is easy to pack, light and yet it still takes on nasty weather or heavy equipment without a problem. The best thing about this pack however is its amazing ability to fit well regardless of it is highly stuffed or just half full. In short, get this pack if you value quality, I certainly have not regretted getting it
